CAST SPELLS AND UTILIZE SACRED ARTIFACTS TO DEFEND AGAINST DEMONS AND CREATURES!

In the Japanese RPG "Blade God's Amaterasu," players take up the sword of a goddess to combat malevolent creatures in a fantastical world. The protagonist, Mikazuchi, embarks on a journey to the realm of "Amaterasu" to rescue his adopted father, who has been abducted by the demon god Ichigan.

Mikazuchi's adoptive father is held captive by the demon god Ichigan. This RPG features the classic KEMCO system, including field exploration in a traditional command battle format, as well as elements like collecting blade god stones in battle and drawing gacha cards.

BATTLES ARE QUICKLY PACED, OFTEN CONCLUDING IN SECONDS

In the main story, events unfold as you embark on adventures in the open world, explore towns or dungeons, or travel to specific locations. Encountering an enemy along the way triggers a one-on-one turn-based battle, where combatants fight in order of their speed.

Defeat the threat using "holy weapons" for special moves, "special skills" for attacks, and "magic" for casting spells. You can influence the battle scenario by activating the formation effect with the "order" unique to the main character. Additionally, battles can be set to auto or accelerated up to four times the normal speed.

BLADE GOD AMATERASU IS DESIGNED FOR EASY PLAY WITH A CLASSIC STRUCTURE

The visuals are pleasing, though some elements diverge from traditional Japanese style. In the early game, even on the hardest difficulty, enemies are not particularly challenging. Using the auto feature or the four-times speed boost ensures smooth progression. The game gives a positive impression that leveling up is manageable, with an extensive training menu available. Gacha can be used to acquire powerful equipment, a common feature in KEMCO RPGs. Blade Godseki can be earned in battles, providing an advantage.

However, the user interface, battle graphics, and production are almost identical to "Devil Birogue," offering little new experience for players familiar with the previous title. Despite the Japanese-style characters, the field and tree designs lack a "Japanese-style" aesthetic, creating a sense of discord. A simpler depiction, like a bamboo grove in the field, a fusuma opening in combat, or ink painting-like effects when casting magic, would have been preferred.

As you level up, equip new gear. Characters earn experience points in combat to level up, use money earned to buy equipment in towns, and enhance stats like attack power. Leveling up requires accumulating a certain number of experience points.
